State Parks

Dinosaur Valley State Park, is located in Glen Rose in Somervell County. It is part of a 113 million year old shore line.

Palo Duro State Park is located south of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle. Here you can visit the Palo Duro Canyon.

Texas State Park is located in Brownsville.

Bonham State Park is located in Fannin County northeast of Dallas. The park is mainly prairies and woodlands.

Eisenhower State Park is located in Grayson County. Has some rare tall-grass prarie, shoreline bluffs, and terminate in rocky.

Big Bend National Parkis in the Southwestern corner of Texas on the Mexico border, in Brewster County. It is the largest and least visited national parks. The park includes massive canyons, vast desert expanses, and the entire Chisos Mountain range.
